ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Social Media Marketing Intern at Supersites, you’ll own end-to-end social campaigns that span brand storytelling, content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis. You’ll support both Supersites’ own channels and client programs—learning to develop strategy, produce graphics and video, schedule and publish across platforms, and optimize based on real-time metrics. This is an opportunity to sharpen your creative and analytical marketing skills while collaborating with senior strategists, designers, and account managers in a fast-paced, supportive agency environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supersites Brand Marketing
- Develop and maintain a weekly content calendar for Supersites’ channels
- Craft on-brand copy, graphics, and short-form video to showcase our thought leadership, case studies, and team culture
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/DMs, and identify partnership or cross-promo opportunities
- Analyze performance (followers, engagement, traffic referrals) and recommend optimizations
- Client Campaign Execution
- Collaborate on social media strategies tailored to each client’s goals and audience
- Assist in building quarterly content plans, including campaign themes, key messages, and platform mix
- Write captions, design assets (Canva, Figma), and edit videos for client approval
- Schedule and publish posts via Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite
- Monitor community interactions; escalate emerging issues or opportunities
- Track KPIs (reach, impressions, engagement rate, click-throughs); prepare weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights
- Support A/B tests on creative formats, CTAs, and posting cadences
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with account managers to ensure social efforts align with broader marketing plans
- Work alongside paid-media specialists on ad setup, targeting, and performance reporting
- Coordinate with design and copy teams on integrated brand campaigns
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
- Excellent written communication: clear, concise, and adaptable to different brand voices
- Passion for social media trends, storytelling, and online communities
- Strong organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Self-starter attitude with eagerness to learn in a fast-paced agency environment
PREFERRED SKILLS & TOOLS
- Hands-on experience with scheduling/analytics tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite)
- Basic graphic design (Canva, Figma, Adobe Express) and video editing (InShot, Premiere Rush) skills
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO fundamentals, and audience research
- Exposure to influencer outreach, paid-social advertising, or email marketing

- Job Location: Remote
- Duration: 6 months (possibility to extend)
- Time Commitment: 15–20 hours/week
