ROLE SUMMARY
As a Full Stack Development Intern at Supersites, you’ll work on real-world digital products that span frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll contribute to both internal and client-facing projects and gain end-to-end exposure—from database design and API development to frontend component integration and DevOps workflows.
This is an opportunity to deepen your technical foundation while collaborating with senior engineers, designers, and product strategists in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Frontend Development
- Build responsive, component-based UIs using React.js, HTML5, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap)
- Integrate RESTful APIs and handle dynamic state with tools like Redux or React Context
- Collaborate with design and UX teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
Backend & Database Development
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express.js, or Flask (Python)
- Work with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Implement authentication, session management, and role-based access controls
Cloud & DevOps Exposure
- Assist in deployment and version control workflows using Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
- Work with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud for hosting, environment setup, and monitoring
- Help configure basic infrastructure components (e.g., EC2, Firebase, S3, Vercel, Netlify)
QA, Testing & Documentation
- Participate in debugging and QA cycles across browsers and devices
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and technical documentation for handoff or internal use
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Join daily standups and weekly sprint reviews with cross-functional teams
- Partner with UI/UX designers, SEO specialists, and marketing strategists on integrated builds
- Participate in code reviews and receive mentorship from senior developers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles (Python, Java, C++, or PHP)
- Hands-on experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React
- Familiarity with backend logic, databases, and API architecture
- Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and in teams
PREFERRED SKILLS & TOOLS
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket for version control
- Familiarity with Webflow, Firebase, or similar CMS/low-code tools
- Exposure to tools like Postman, Docker, AWS CLI, or cloud dashboards
- Prior project work involving authentication, database design, or cloud deployments

- Stipend: $15/hour (paid bi-weekly)
LOGISTICS
- Duration: 6 months (possibility to extend)
- Time Commitment: 21 hours/week (flexible; remote with optional sessions at our Collegeville, PA HQ)
- Start Date: May 21, 2025 (or as mutually agreed)
